The Worship and Prayer ChristCare Group will be praying for YOU!!
The ChristCare Group led by Pat Isaac and assisted by Julia Hoesche will be praying for each Trinity family during the next year. Each week members of the group will be praying for five families. You will receive a postcard in the mail letting you know the week before your family will be prayed for. This will give you an opportunity to contact the ChristCare member with any prayer requests or needs.
This is a great missional service that this ChristCare Group will be doing. It is also a wonderful way for the Trinity families to know that someone cares about them as we continue to carry out our mission statement.
If you would like to join this ChristCare Group or would like more information about praying for Trinity families, contact Pat Isaac at (308) 583-2113 or at LeRoyLisaac@aol.com. ________________

SCRIPT CARDS
How often do you shop at Wal-Mart, Super Saver,
JC Penney, Sears, or Bath & Body Works?
Do you ever eat out at Applebee's, Burger King, or Wendy's?
These are just a few of the places that most people frequent on a regular basis.
There are many more places that take SCRIP Cards which benefits Trinity Lutheran School!
For a complete list stop by the SCRIP table at the times listed below.
Scrip is a method of fundraising in which money is raised on regular everyday purchases.
Trinity Lutheran School benefits by receiving 2%-33% profit from the merchant on every dollar you purchase.
A ChristCare Group will be selling SCRIP Cards and taking orders the first weekend of each month. These will be sold after Saturday night service and on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 9:15 and 10:15-10:45 in the east entryway of the church. They will be sold at the school entryway from 10:15-10:30 and also after the Contemporary Service.
What better way to support the school than by going shopping!

_______________ CHRISTCARE MINISTRY
CHRISTCARE GROUPS
Trinity has always had caring members. This has even been more evident during the last year as ChristCare ministry has grown and members have kept the mission statement in the forefront of their lives. I have seen members reaching out to those that are hurting, sharing smiles with those having a rough day, taking meals to those in need, welcoming other cultures, those with special needs, guest and new members into our church family. Christ Cared for everyone HE met! Thank you Trinity members for taking His example and doing the same.
CHRISTCARE GROUPS
Do you have the winter blahs, cabin fever, or just feel out of sorts?
Trinity has a cure for all of the above. Join a ChristCare Group which are made up of caring Trinity members who study God's word, care for one another, pray together, and reach out to others. PROJECT 12 BASKETS
Project 12 baskets was here last November to receive donated items and put them on ebay with the proceeds going to Trinity Lutheran Church and School. As of the end of 2007, we have collected $979.90 from them for 51 items that have sold. This amounts to 70% of what the items sold for after deducting the ebay sales costs or 62% of gross sales.
We will be receiving $690.93 for 15 more items that have sold in January 2008 and $78.25 for
3 items that have sold to date in February.
Thanks to all who donated items for this project. Once the sales are complete, we will put out another summary. If you filled out a form with the donated item, you can get the total of what the item sold for by contacting the church office.
If there is enough interest, Project 12 baskets would want to come back and do another collection. __________________

FROM THE BOARD OF ELDERS
The board of Elders has and will continue to maintain an open door policy. With the Lord as our guide, we are more willing to listen and help you if possible with whatever you bring to the board. However, for us to maintain an orderly monthly meeting, if you want to meet with the board, please contact the board's chairman a week before the regular monthly meeting that is held the fourth Monday of each month. Then, we can put it on our agenda for that meeting. We would like to have it kept for five minutes. However, if you feel that is not enough time, let the chairman know and we can arrange our monthly meeting accordingly. Thank you for your help and consideration in this matter, and may the Lord keep you in His loving grace. In the service of our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ,
The Board of Elders
