Nebraska and Burlington, Iowa, where we still make their permanent
home. I received my training as an Intentional Interim Pastor
in 1996-1997, and since then I have served 7 congregations
in Iowa, Minnesota and Colorado before returning to Nebraska
to serve Trinity Lutheran Church, Grand Island.
My wife
of 38 years, Teddie, works as Director of Clinical Service
for a home health care business that operates in southeast
Iowa and central Illinois. Together we have three children
and 5 grandchildren. My interests include reading, hiking,
art, listening to music and gardening.

phil@triluthgi.org |
I
came to Trinity in the summer of 1998.
Currently,
I teach general music to all students in kindergarten through
eighth grade at Trinity Lutheran School, in addition to directing
the children's choirs and the student handbell ensemble.
My church
responsibilities include serving as adult choir director,
handbell ensemble director, principal organist, and worship
planner.
Music
is a major part of our worship life, and I am privileged to
be able to minister in this way. |

Eunice McCarty
Director of Family Life Ministry
euni@triluthgi.org |
Trinity called me to begin a Family Life Ministry program
in January of 2000.
My ministry
before this included teaching first grade and preschool in
Lutheran Schools for 18 years.
Family
Life Ministry encompasses birth through death, focusing on
Christian education, parenting, childcare, support groups,
and special activities.
Both singles
and family units will find Trinity cares about them as individuals.
We welcome
people from all walks of life into our church family as we
offer spiritual, educational, and social opportunities for
all ages throughout the week. |
